Yes. The design menu keeps the layout, fixtures, windows and doors in place and changes finishes and materials. Layout changes can be requested in words, but they are less predictable.

Can I design from a floor plan instead of a photo?

You can upload a floor plan and the AI will interpret it into an eye-level view of the room. Because it is inventing what the plan does not show, expect a looser result than a photo gives.

Can I match the shower walls to the countertop?

Yes. The shower surround option can match the countertop slab, or match the floor when you choose a tile floor.

How accurate are the colors?

Getting metal finishes to agree

Most bathrooms carry four or five metal finishes: faucet, shower trim, cabinet pulls, light fixture, maybe a towel bar. Mixing is fine when it looks deliberate, usually one dominant finish with a single accent. It looks accidental when two near-identical finishes sit side by side, such as chrome next to brushed nickel.

This is where a preview earns its keep. Set the faucet, shower fixture and vanity light to one finish, generate, then change only the pulls and compare. Two designs side by side settle the debate faster than any swatch board.

Small bathrooms and powder rooms

Small rooms are hard to photograph because you cannot step back far enough. A phone wide-angle lens helps, but extreme ultra-wide shots bend straight lines, and the AI will keep that distortion. Shoot from the doorway at chest height and include the vanity and at least part of the shower or toilet so the room reads as a bathroom.

Close the toilet lid and clear the counter: clutter gets redrawn as clutter.
Turn on the vanity light and the overhead light; dim photos come back dim.
If only the vanity is in frame, the result will only redesign the vanity.

Can it turn my tub into a walk-in shower?

The material menu restyles what is already there: it will change a tub-and-shower combo trim to matte black, but it will not remove the tub. You can describe a conversion in the Refine tab and the AI will attempt it. Treat that result as a mood image rather than a plan, because moving plumbing changes the room in ways a photo cannot show.
